Bed and Breakfast Honeymoon
A great option often overlooked by honeymoon hunters is Bed and Breakfast Inns (BnB’s / B&B’s).
One of the big costs often associated with honeymooning is the cost of travel to an exotic location. But if you aren’t interested in beach bumming, you might want to consider options closer to home such as a Bed & Breakfast where you can enjoy a very romantic and intimate time together.
My wife and I were looking for romance on our honeymoon, so we chose to retreat to Amish country and stayed at Das Dutchman Essenhaus Inn in Middlebury, Indiana. There we enjoyed a romantic time in a horse-drawn carriage, visiting country stores, eating at homestyle restaurants, and cuddling in our quilt-covered bed in the cutest room a newlywed couple could ever want.
Many Bed and Breakfasts offer an in-room jacuzzi to help you relax and forget all your wedding planning worries.
To help you celebrate your new life of love, many BnB’s will treat you to chocolate covered strawberries, champaign, or a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers upon your arrival. You may also have the opportunity to enjoy a massage or some other amenity.
Since the Bed and Breakfast you spend your honeymoon at does not need to be too far away from where you live, you will be able to go back and relive your honeymoon memories on your five year anniversary or some other time that you want to make extra special as you keep the romance fresh in your love life.
A great way to find the perfect Bed and Breakfast in your area is to visit a B&B Directory such as BnB Finder or BB Online.
