Honeymoon Deal in Exotic Morocco

Saturday, October 3rd, 2009

Ourika Valley, MoroccoIf you are looking for a magical honeymoon experience, Morocco is the place to go.

Morocco has always been the crossroads of Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. This unique blend of cultures has made Morocco a very enchanting and exotic land of spices and romance.

I have found an 8 day itinerary that lets you experience Morocco for as little as $1899 per person. Included are airfare from JFK airport in New York, accommodations in 4-star hotels, most of your meals, sightseeing opportunities, your entrance fees, tour guides, airport transfers, and fuel surcharges.

If you are interested, you should reserve your place soon. One reason to act fast is that tour dates are selling out quickly since this is an amazing deal. Another reason is that the price quoted above will only be available until October 27, 2009.

For a full itinerary, lots of pictures, and all of the honeymoon package details, visit Honeymoon in Morocco.

Cruise Deals for Less than $60 per night

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

cruise dealsWhen looking for a good deal, one important thing to consider is how much are you paying for each day of your cruise.

Let’s say you see one cruise being advertised at $389 per person and another offer for $645 per person. That is not enough information to know which is the better price. Now you need to look at how many nights you get with the cruise package.

As it turns out, in this fictitious example you will pay $389 for 4-nights but $645 per person for 9-nights.

The second cruise offer is clearly the better price as you will only pay about $70 per night; wheras the $389 offer costs about $97 per night.

You will also want to consider the destination, ports of call, and what amenities are included on the ship.

A great starting point for fantastic cruise deals, would be this page of cruises that cost less than $60 per night.

Australia Honeymoon Deal including roundtrip air

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

The one continent that really stirs our imaginations is Australia. Australia is the  magical place where kangaroos, koalas, platypuses and The Great Barrier Reef call home.

Australia honeymoonCan you imagine a better place to spend your honeymoon than on the largest island in the world with coastline stretching almost 50,000 kilometres – a coastline linked by over 10,000 beaches, more than any other country in the world?

If an Australian Honeymoon appeals to you, I recommend checking out the great honeymoon deal I have found:

7 nights total from ONLY $1884 per person including airfare

This is an impressive offer. Not only is it about half as expensive as most Australia honeymoon packages I have seen but it also includes your roundtrip airfare from LAX airport.

It is a long flight to Australia, so you might want to talk to the travel agent about extending your trip to make the long flight more worthwhile. Chances are you aren’t going to make it to this part of the world again so you should enjoy it as much as possible while you are there. Since the quoted price includes airfare, we would expect the per day price to drop some for any additional days you stay in Australia – but you’ll have to ask the travel agent about that.

Here is everything this offer includes:

  • ROUND-TRIP AIR FROM LAX TO AUSTRALIA, CAIRNS INC TAX
  • Transfers to Four Seasons Sydney
  • 3 nights City view room  includes tax  (add $50pp to get Opera house view)
  • Flights to Cairns for two
  • transfers to Silky Oaks Lodge
  • Your own Treehouse Bungalow
  • Breakfast daily for two
  • all hotel taxes

Save My Honeymoon from the Mexican Swine Flu Outbreak

    Thursday, April 30th, 2009
Mexico is usually among the favorite honeymoon destinations and for good reason. But now that Mexico is struggling with the recent swine flu outbreak, many couples are finding themselves wondering what to do about their Mexico destination honeymoons planned for the next couple months.

In fact, there have been reports of honeymooners contracting the illness in popular Mexican honeymoon resort areas such as Cancun.
Here is a story of a British couple who got sick and here is another story about a Scottish couple who came down with the illness.
If you are booked for a cruise visiting Mexico, chances are that your cruise is being re-routed to avoid Mexico. Before canceling your booking, check with your cruise line to find out what precautions they are taking to avoid contact with the new flu outbreak.

If you are booked with a resort in Mexico, talk to your travel agent to find out what solutions he or she is providing. Perhaps your honeymoon trip is covered by insurance so that you can get your money back and either book for another destination or another time. The resorts themselves should also be willing to refund your money or at least let you book for a different time (after the flu outbreak has become controlled).

If you want to make new arrangements, consider the Caribbean or Hawaii as good alternative destinations at a similar cost. We recommend that you ask your travel agent about these alternate destinations. Your travel agent should be sympathetic to your situation and be able to find you a great deal.
If you want to do your own research, then read on…
Here’s a great place to start when looking for Caribbean honeymoon deals. As you start designing your fresh, new honeymoon remember that Cancun, although often considered a Caribbean destination, is a Mexican coastal city.

Once you figure out what kind of Caribbean honeymoon you want, check out current specials to see if you can get what you want at a special price.
There are many good honeymoon deals for Hawaii right now.
Here is a hawaii honeymoon deals site where you can select which island you are most interested in and then you can take a look at featured hotels and resorts starting with 5 star hotels — so don’t be put off by the first price set you see, keep on scrolling down for more affordable options.
Another site lists their best hawaii honeymoon deals in two categories:
My sympathies go out to anyone who is trying to save their honeymoon from this unexpected flu outbreak.
Feel free to vent and tell me how this flu outbreak has affected your plans. We would all be interested to hear what honeymoo deals you found at short notice.
    Please leave your comments.
